The task on this project was to dismantle the existing facade and then assemble a new one with a thermo-treated wood finish - thermoash.
Stage 1. We perform a complete dismantling of the existing facade.
There was a lot of debris - about 250 cubic meters! :)
Stage 2. Geodetic survey, rainscreen design, installation of subsystems, thermal insulation.
We conduct a geodetic survey of the facades and based on the survey, we create a rainscreen project. We install a metal subsystem, lay insulation. As the load-bearing external walls of the house are made of different materials, we use different types of brackets. For ceramic blocks - a chemical anchor, for reinforced concrete - a mechanical anchor. Before starting the installation, we always carry out a TEST OF FASTENING ELEMENTS (pull-out test) - to select the correct attachment of the load-bearing bracket.
Stage 3. Installation of thermoash facade boards, installation of window sills and parapet cover.
While the craftsmen are assembling the frame, we manufacture thermo-treated ash planks at our production facility. In this project, we used a beveled thermo-treated ash plank with two degrees of heat treatment - "dark" and "golden". After manufacturing the plank, we perform its finishing - sanding and oil treatment. Sanding is carried out on a calibration-grinding equipment, which allows the thickness of the board to deviate by only 0.1 mm (one-tenth of a millimeter)! After calibration and sanding, we cover the board with a special protective colored oil. The front side - two layers, the back side - one layer of protective coating.
We use hidden fasteners. After installing the planks, we manufacture and install window sills and covers, as well as parapet covers. Material - Pural in the color of the window frames.
